Attention Varsity Basketball Player,
The mission of the Bryan Dunn Memorial Tournament (BDMT) is simple: to find deserving athletes to represent Bryan’s legacy.
To champion our cause, the Bryan Dunn Memorial Tournament will provide one time college scholarships to
male and female athletes in the Treasure Valley area. In the past, these amounts have ranged from $500 to $2,000 per athlete.
In
establishing these scholarships, we hope to provide an opportunity to support
the educational needs of our youth.
Administered
successfully, our scholarship program will help our organization (BDMT) to become a recognized benefactor for personal development
within the community.
Eligibility Requirements:
Applicants must meet each of the following eligibility requirements:
· Full-time participant in varsity basketball
· Graduating senior at an Idaho High School
· Show evidence of high athletic ability, performance and drive
· Minimum B average
· Have a desire to continue their education at the collegiate level
Application Requirements:
Applicants must submit all of the following requirements to be
considered for a scholarship:
· Completed application form by student
· Copy of High School transcript
· Recent photograph
· A simple letter of recommendation from a school coach, teacher, or administrator
Evaluation Criteria:
The selection of scholarship recipients will be based on the following criteria:
· Academic performance
· Quality of essay submission
